By using Hire4Real.fyi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Description of Service

2. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Hire4Real.fyi is not a consumer reporting agency.
Hire4Real.fyi is not a consumer reporting agency ("CRA") as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and its outputs are not "consumer reports." Hire4Real.fyi is not a background check service and may not be used to make employment decisions about any individual. The Filing Pattern Score is a probabilistic educational indicator based on public data and community reviews; it is an opinion, not a statement of fact, and does not guarantee any outcome.
Do not rely solely on Hire4Real data to make employment decisions. A score does not guarantee that a position will be filled or that you will receive a response. Always conduct your own due diligence.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Hire4Real.fyi only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Automate bulk job scanning on free or Standard plans in excess of your rate limit
- Use the service to build a competing ghost-job detection product without a commercial license
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithm or circumvent rate limiting
- Submit false or misleading community reports to manipulate company scores
- Use the service to harass, defame, or target specific individuals
- Access the API to extract bulk data for commercial redistribution without a license
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are associated with abuse, or are used for unauthorized commercial purposes.
5. No Paid Tiers
Hire4Real.fyi does not offer paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. All published data, scan tools, and community features are provided free of charge. Reasonable per-session usage limits may apply to prevent abuse.
6. Intellectual Property
The scoring algorithm, UI, brand, and all original content on Hire4Real.fyi are owned by Hire4Real. 7. Browser Extension
The Hire4Real.fyi browser extension ("Extension") is an optional companion that displays Filing Pattern Scores inline on supported job sites (LinkedIn, Indeed). By installing the Extension, you agree to these additional terms:
- License: We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to install and use the Extension for personal, non-commercial job searching
- Acceptable use: You may not scrape, redistribute, or automate bulk data collection through the Extension. Circumventing client-side or server-side rate limits is a violation of these terms
- Disclaimer: Scores displayed by the Extension are the same probabilistic opinions described in Section 2. The Extension reads only job posting content from pages you visit and sends it to Hire4Real.fyi for scoring - it does not access your browsing history, personal data, or content on non-supported sites
- Third-party sites: The Extension operates on LinkedIn and Indeed. We are not affiliated with these platforms. Changes to their page structure may temporarily affect Extension functionality
- Termination: We may disable Extension access at any time for accounts that violate these terms. You may uninstall the Extension at any time to revoke all permissions
The Extension's data handling is described in our Extension Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
Hire4Real.fyi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hire4Real.fyi and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, reliance on scoring results, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. DMCA and Takedown Requests
If you believe content on Hire4Real.fyi infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to legal@hire4real.com. Your notice must include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) identification of the material to be removed, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good faith belief, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Note: Scores derived from public government records are editorial commentary and are not subject to DMCA takedown. Employers may use the dispute process to challenge factual inaccuracies in their score.
10. Dispute Resolution
Score disputes: Employers who believe their data or score is inaccurate may submit a dispute at /dispute. We review all disputes within 5 business days and will correct scores where data errors are identified.
Service disputes: Any dispute arising from your use of the service shall first be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting legal@hire4real.com. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the State of Delaware.
Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
11. Community Content
Hire4Real.fyi allows users to submit employer reports, interview experiences, application outcome data, culture reviews, and community discussion posts ("Community Content"). By submitting Community Content, you grant Hire4Real.fyi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, modify, aggregate, and distribute your submission in connection with the operation of the service. You retain ownership of your original content.
You represent and warrant that your Community Content is truthful, based on your personal experience, does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights, and does not contain confidential information protected by non-disclosure agreements. You agree to indemnify and hold Hire4Real.fyi harmless from any claims arising from your Community Content.
Hire4Real.fyi moderates Community Content through automated rules and human review in accordance with our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or hold for review any content that violates our policies, at our sole discretion. Community Content is clearly labeled as community-sourced and is distinct from public government records.
Repeated violations of the Community Guidelines may result in temporary or permanent account termination. Hire4Real.fyi may terminate accounts at its discretion for egregious violations including doxing, harassment, or hate speech.
12. Appeal and Takedown Procedures
Employers may request correction of factual inaccuracies or removal of user-generated content through our dispute process. We review all requests within 5 business days.

Algorithmic scores derived from public data are editorial opinions protected under the First Amendment.
13. Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
