How Content Moderation Works

All community posts go through a multi-tier moderation pipeline before publication:

  1. Automated rules: Checks for PII, blocked content, and policy triggers
  2. AI classification: Fast content review for clear violations or approvals
  3. AI nuanced review: Detailed analysis for borderline cases
  4. Human review: Final decision by Hire4Real moderators for complex cases

Most posts are published within minutes. Posts held for human review are typically processed within 24 hours.

Large-Employer Moderation Policy

Posts about large employers - defined as publicly traded companies with a market capitalization above $10 billion USD, or private companies with more than 100,000 employees, or companies with annual revenue above $5 billion USD - are held for manual review by Hire4Real moderators before publication. This policy applies uniformly to all employers meeting these criteria (currently including, among others: Apple, Amazon, Alphabet/Google, Meta/Facebook, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Oracle, Salesforce, Tesla, and many others). The policy exists to ensure quality, accuracy, and fairness in community reporting about highly-scrutinized organizations where reputational stakes are elevated. The policy is content-neutral and size-based; it applies regardless of the sentiment (positive or negative) expressed in the post.

Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the "Report" button on any post. Reports are reviewed by human moderators. False or malicious reports may result in account restrictions.

Appeals

If your post is removed or held and you believe this was an error, you may appeal by contacting legal@hire4real.com. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

Account Termination

Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in temporary or permanent account suspension. Severe violations (doxing, harassment, hate speech) may result in immediate permanent ban.
